The bad habits you should break!

What is wrong about it:
When you wear high heels you damage not only your foot ligaments but also your spine. This is even more dangerous if you do not workout, or if you do not have a strong core. If you have worn high-heels all your life, you should go see a doctor.
How to break it:
Start by walking around the home in athletes or ballerinas shoes. If you have damaged your feet than do as your doctor advices you.

You wear contact lenses every day and night.

What is wrong about it:
Contact lenses are great, I know. However, your health is more important than you look. You can wear contact lenses in an important event, or wedding, but try to use eyeglasses for your everyday routine. Contact lenses hold a lot of bacterias which may infect your precious eyes. They will be a good source of infections even in those events days, if you do not clean them properly.
How to break it:
As I said, try to wear your eyeglasses. Buy eyeglasses that you love how they look in your face, or those that do not hurt your noise if that's your problem. If you must wear contact lenses, do not wear them for extended hours, try to cleanse them well every 6 hours at least! If they break or fall from your hands, do not wear them ever again. Consult your doctor which is the best cleanser for your contacts.

You sleep with your make up on

What is wrong about it:
The other morning you may find one pimple, or two, if you are lucky, and they will go away. But if you do it all the time, you will end up with clogged pores, more wrinkles, a tired look, puffy bags on the eyes, and we are not looking for that. In some cases, in the face appeared small, hard bumps that form on the skin.
How to break it:
Clean your brushes by soaking them in warm water with vinegar. Keep your towels clean. Do not forget, every time before going to bed, clean your make up, and then clean your face once again with milk face, or gel, or scrub, whatever you use. If you forget, put your creams somewhere in the bathroom that will always catch your eye.

You spent more time at Fast-food instead of at your home kitchen

What is wrong about it:
You can eat fast-food of course, to substitute a lunch, or just for your pleasure, but do it too often and you are certainly prone to gain weight and a lot of other health issues. Fast food is low in nutrients, high in calories, in saturated fat, and sodium. The majority of breads, they use, are also refined and most of their meals are scarce on the veggies. You can in fact become addicted to salt, sugar and fat and develop cravings for them, and fast foods have all of these combined, to make you addicted to them.
How to break it:
You may start by taking notes on how much fast food you are eating every day and writing it down for about three weeks. Then you may reduce your trips to two times a week. Take easy steps: bringing a bag of fruits at work for the week, for example, if you tend to eat fast food as your work/day snack. And spend time searching online for better restaurants.

Not flossing daily

What is wrong about it:
The toothbrush has a hard time reaching foods that get stuck in between. Even if you are brushing you teeth regularly after every meal, still food is somewhere there between your precious teeth. Any food that gets stuck between your teeth has a great chance at turning into bacteria that can possibly eat away at the enamel and cause this way decay. This leads to gum disease, maybe root canals, and even tooth loss!
How to break it:
Everyone should brush their teeth after every meal, or at least 3 times a day if possible, always down, away from the gums. For flossing, you should do it before you go to bed so there is no food left in your mouth and between your teeth to do any kind of damage while you are asleep.

Too much Alcohol

What is wrong about it:
You can always have some fun with your friends, and drink a glass or two. But pounding down several glasses in one sitting can result in the hangover and also some other unpleasant side effects. As showed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) studies, excessive drinking can possibly disrupt menstrual cycling, also increase the risk of infertility, possibly the miscarriage, the stillbirth, and the premature delivery.
How to break it:
You can write down how much you drink and reduce that amount if it is excessive. You can keep your writing plan to a two week timeline. Then you can try planning when you are going out and drinking. You should have a mocktail first, then you can always order a cocktail later

You do not do enough exercise, or you do not do it at all.

What is wrong about it:
People do tend to have all kinds of excuses: they do not look good, or they are too fat, or they are too busy, etc. The main problem with believing these excuses is: these excuses that you use not to exercise, will be or are, the same ones you will use or use, everywhere in your life, in everything you do.
How to break it:

3 steps:
  • Determine how you want to live and why you want to live that way.
  • Post your fitness plan and progress on social media.
  • Try to do some kind of movement every day: like 100 squats a day, or 100 jumping jacks, or 100 jumping rope, everything and anything that keep your heart rate racing.
