It remains one of Brett's biggest regrets in life to date: Why did he not become a chair salesman like his dad? Then he could actually be lounging naked and carefree in this silver Modway ring vinyl lounge chair as it was originally designed to be used. Instead, he's flopped here temporarily on the furniture gallery showroom floor, reluctantly clothed and fantasizing about all the fantastic places and faces upon which he could be resting his ass had he only followed in his father's footsteps. Because it turns out that, despite the many perks and fine half-price coats and hats and handbags and gloves and stuff, the life of a modern-day furrier is not nearly as glamorous (or de-fumigated [or PETA paint-free]) as Brett's high school guidance counselor had made it sound...
So, today, let us learn from Brett's mistakes: Go forth, listening closely to your gut/butt, and strut confidently in the direction of your dreams.
